Birth
In all census records Willie is noted as being born in Laugharne but in the 1911 and 1921 census he records himself as born in Clifton. His parents were married in Clifton, Bristol. His birth certificate states that his birthplace was Laugharne.It is believed that he was, in fact, born at his grandparents home in Laugharne.

The birth was registered by his mother Martha.Marriage
They were married by licence by J.R. Davies, vicar. The witnesses were John Evans and David Hughes. Both Willie and Hannah signed their names.Occupation
Willie was the shepherd in charge of the Garth Estate flock (as well as his own). For this work he was paid an annual fee.Death
