They were married by licence by the Reverend David Jones, Gwyddelwern. The witnesses were J E E Jones and C Lloyd Davies. Alice Elizabeth's second name of 'Evelyne' was crossed out and replaced with Elizabeth. Alice records her age as 23! It was in fact 28.Anewspaper report in Towyn names Alice as "Alice Evelyn Jones". The best man was David's brother Peter. The bridesmaid was a Miss Morgan. The bride was given away by her cousin J Edwinson Jones of Brynarvor, Towyn and Gower Street, London.
