Katherine sailed with her father, mother and brother from San Francisco aboard the SS President Jefferson on the 9th of December 1927 arriving in Honolulu on December 15th where they stayed at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Honolulu. They sailed back to California on the SS City of Honolulu on the 27th of December 1927 . They arrived at the port of Wilmington, California on January 6th 1928.
