On the journey from Queenstown to New York on board the Majestic she was in the ship's hospital suffering fron femoral thrombosis and phlebitis possibly after a fall. She paid the passage herself. She had $10 in her pocket on arrival in America. Her occupation was recorded as a servant. She is described as being 5 feet tall with dark hair, dark complection and brown eyes.
The ships register records that she was on her way to a friend called Wilson in Pennsylvania. The address is partialy obliterated but 8, Lehigh Street is clearly visible.
