Baptism

A note in the parish records made by the vicar Samuel Jones states that Thomas was recorded incorrectly as William according to a solemn declaration made my mother Charlotte on the 20th of October 1870.

Occupation

His future wife Margaret Jones was also working on this farm at this time.

Marriage

They were married by the vicar James Griffiths. The witnesses were John Rees and Thomas Thomas. They both signed with a cross (X).
