Marriage
They were married by licence by the vicar, Daniel Jones. The witnesses were Thomas Griffiths and Margaret Anne Jones. Martha was given away by her father. The bridesmaids were David's sister Margaret Anne and David's cousin Miss Evans of Maespwll. The bestman was David's cousin the auctioneer, Stephen H Evans, also of Maespwll. The bride's uncle, William Davies of Rhydderchlwyd was also present. The wedding breskfast was provided at th Royal George by Mr Griffiths.
