Gordon Lee TINDER
(7 Sep 1856 - 24 Mar 1916)
NOTE:
They ran the True Blue Store, Post Office and Inn. It had 7-8 bedrooms upstairs and a wooden Indian at the front door. Spencer Tinder's home "Goshen" was close by. At one time there was a jail there, a large black building. There is an old school house still standing. An even older school had been located across the road, and Margaret Tinder went to school there. Their daughter Blanche Lorre purchased the store and home.
