Married Frank Salo. I met her just after Rudy Raiha and KD were killed in 1972... she called to give me the message and so I would call my mother. My mom would visit her, and I did too, and she gave me the family history printed above. The 1910 census had Saima down as Sama, a son! Saima and her friend, Oscar would stop by and see us when they were smelting at Sucker River. It was a privilege to sit with her at her deathbed and in her casket, she looked amazingly like my mother, thought they had different coloring.. I will write more about this dear person for my family later. Saima is the one who told me about Elmer and I did talk to him on the phone a few times, but we never met. My grown children knew Robert Raiho's son Jim when they both worked at Miller Hill Mall. My son Colin got Jim's security guard job - now Colin is the head of maintenance there.
