( - )

Tamar Shua, Bat Atlas was born Abt. 1765 in Hebron,Canaan,Palestine, and died Abt. 1665 in Rameses,Goshen,Egypt. She married Judas on Abt. 1800 in Paddan-Aram, Mesopotamia, Asia, son of Israel-Jacob and Leah Bint Laban.

Notes for Tamar Shua, Bat Atlas:
Tamar was the Canaanite wife of Judah’s eldest son, Er, who died prematurely (Gen 38:1-7). When the patriarch Judah refused her the normal considerations of remarriage, she tricked him as a harlot into fathering her son, who then was incorporated into what was to become the messianic line (Gen 38:8-30). Judah declares her “righteous” (Gen 38:26).

Gen 38:11-30 informs us that Judah’s daughter-in-law, deprived of a promised husband (the last of Judah’s sons), impersonated a harlot. She enticed Judah to lie with her and from that illicit union came two sons - Perez and Zerah. And from Perez sprung Boaz, David and ultimately the Christ.
