The following obit was published in the Los Angeles Times on December 9, 2008:"Carl Rosenberg aged 98, passed away on Dec. 4th. Born in Chicago, he lived in Los Angeles for the last 40 years after a 35-year career with the U.S. Postal Service. He served with distinction in World War 2. Married for 64 years to his beloved Rose, who predeceased him. He was loved by all. Graveside Service, Thursday, Dec. 11th, at 2:00 p.m., at Mount Sinai Park, Hollywood Hills. Donations to the Jewish Home for the Aged, San Fernando Valley."
