The following obit is from USobituaries.com from an unknown source:"Lloyd L. Russkin 86, passed away on January 8 2015. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida, the son of Mollie and Dan Ruskin. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Candace and his children Keith Ruskin, M.D., Karen Ruskin Dalton (James), and Kimberly Mendelson (Eric) and his 6 grandchildren, Daniel Ruskin, Mollie and Brad Lipkowitz, Hayley, David and Daniel Mendelson and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his younger sister, Andrea Nitzberg. His older sister, Charlyne Meyer, is deceased. Lloyd was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received his Juris Doctor at the University of Miami School of Law in 1955. He practiced law in Miami and was a partner in the law firm of Ruskin & Glick with offices in Chicago and Miami. He was Vice Chairman and General Counsel of Fedco, Inc., and its Subsidiaries and he was associated with the Company from 1972 until it was sold in 2000. Mr. Ruskin was a member of the Florida Bar and was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is a member of the Society of Mt. Sinai Medical Center where he is a Life Trustee of the Hospital and has served as a Vice President and Secretary of its Board of Trustees. He was also the President of the Sustaining Board of Fellows, a predecessor to the Founders of the Hospital. Mr. Ruskin served on the Advisory Board of the Jewish Museum of Florida, was a member of Temple Israel of Greater Miami, and was a Pacesetter of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. He was the original Founding first President of the Jewish Vocational Services, Miami, Florida, which was a part of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. He served on the Welfare Planning Council of Dade County, Florida for many years and was also a founder of the Jewish Health Systems (formerly known as Douglas Gardens). A member of Hibiscus Lodge #275 of the F. & A.M., he is a 32nd Degree Mason and a Member of Mahi Shrine. He is an original member of The Hurricane Club of the University of Miami and a member of La Gorce Country Club. Mr. Ruskin was a gentleman, a wonderful father and grand-father, and honorable and generous to all who knew him. A good name was his guiding principle and he leaves us with dignity and a life well lived. The family is grateful for the care he received from Joan Da Costa. A memorial service will be held at Temple Israel on Sunday, Jan 11 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Donations can be made to Temple Israel, Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation."
