The following obit appeared in the Hillsboro journal-News on May 4 2013:"Wilbur 'Bill' Pecht 93, of Raymond died Thursday. May 2, 2013 at St Francis Hospital in Litchfield. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. May 6. at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. Hough Funeral Home Raymond is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Pecht was born in Chicago on Jan. 26, 1920, the son of the late Oscar and Dena (Isaacson) Pecht. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945. During his service he was the recipient of the Bronze Star. Mr. Pecht was a proud member of the VFW Post 3912 in Litchfield and American Federation of Musicians. He was known for his musical talent and his ability to repair electronics. He is survived by his sons, Fredrick (wife Judy) Pecht of Manteno and Alan Pecht of Raymond; daughter, Jan (husband Ray) Kellenberger of Litchfield; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Leona Wally. Memorials may be made to the Raymond American Legion Post 299."
