Obit
the following obit appearred in the Idaho Press-Tribune on April 15, 2004:Faye Louise Ulis passed away April 10, 2004. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 16, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell. Bishop Neil Banner will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Faye was born Oct. 20, 1939, in Long Beach, Calif., to Florence Helen Minor Fester and Laurence E. Fesler. Faye's father died when she and her twin brother, Scott Louis, were just 18 months old. She, her mother and brother were very close until an auto accident involving an intoxicated driver took the life of her brother at 28 years old. Faye was married to Robert Ulis on March 18, 1976. They were divorced after 11 years. Faye has resided with her mother in Nampa. They were wonderful caretakers of each other until her mother's recent passing. She had been employed by Mercy Medical Center for many years.
Faye's mother, father and brother preceded her in death.
She is survived by four aunts; Sara Hovig of Caldwell, Yvonne Minor of Lake Oswego, Ore., Jean Minor of Kaysville, Utah, Thelma Louise Minor of Nampa; one uncle, Milton Bird Minor of Nampa; and numerous cousins.
She was a member of the Nampa 5th Ward in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Faye was a very kind and thoughtful person and we know she is now happy in her reunion with her family members who have gone before.
