Minnie was 17 and headed to Cleveland to join her father. She was born in Sarop, Russia and last lived in Sarop. She was 5 ft. tall and had brown eyes and hair. The following obit appeared in the October 15, 1961, Cleveland Plain Dealer:"Minnie Baer (Nagel); devoted sister of Mrs. Ida Gottlieb, Jake Blum and Mrs. Chana Lay Ozerovich (deceased), Max Blum (deceased), Sam Bloom (deceased); loving aunt and great-aunt. Funeral services Sunday, Oct. 15, at 3:30 p. m., at the Miller Memorial Funeral Chapel, 744 E. 105th St. Family at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Berko, 1551 Winchester Rd., Lyndhurst. Contributions may be made to the Jewish Orthodox Home for the Aged, 736 Lakeview Rd."
