Fidel Chavian

Fidel Chavian, after the death of Cydel Chavian who died while undergoing a liver operation in Warsaw, remarried and moved away with the children, leaving only Lazer and his family in Ostrolenko. During the German invasion of Poland and the Holocaust, Lazer Teitelbaum and his entire family were killed along with the other Jews of Ostrolenko. The fate of the Chavians is unknown. World War II marked the end of the Teitelbaum family in Europe, as it did with many other families.
