Loving mother of Dr. Fred (Jackie), Gary, Marc, Joel Rothstein and Lori (Stuart) Glassman. Devoted grandmother of Michele, Dr. Brian (Tal), Zachary, Alyssa, Max Rothstein, Adam and Alex Glassman. Loving aunt of Debbie and Alan Anderson and Sherry Frankel. Dear sister of the late Gerty Anderson, Eileen and Fred Baker. Dear companion of "Buddy". Services will be held Wednesday July 11 at 11 A.M. at the Berkoxitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 S.Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends following the services on Wednesday at 5150 Three Village Dr. Lyndhurst, OH (Reception Room) until 5 P.M., Wednesday evening 7-9 P.M. Thursday family will receive friends at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. F. Rothstein 1080 W. Hill Drive, Gates Mills, OH 1-4 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. The following obit was published in the July 19, 2012 Cleveland Jewish News:"Esther Rothstein (nee Baker), a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening, died July 9 at age 82. A graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, Mrs. Rothstein belonged to Hadassah, and she was a past member of Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple. She was fond of animals. Mrs. Rothstein was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Jerome. She is survived by her sons Dr. Fred (Jackie), Gary, Marc and Joel; daughter Lori (Stuart) Glassman; and seven grandchildren. Contributions are suggested to the Alzheimers Association or to the Esther Rothstein Fund at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center."
