The origins of this George Martin are unknown. There is speculation that he may have immigrated with his pregnant wife (name unknown) on the ship Hannah and Elizabeth that sailed from Dartmouth to Salem in 1679. This George Martin is not related in any known way to George Martin of Salisbury/Amesbury.
