On 4 September 1838, Sarah Upton of Mont Vernon,aged eighty-two years, made application for a widow’s pension. Enos wasreported as enlisting in April 1775 in the company of Capt. Crosby with eightmonths of service and the Spring of 1777 in the company of Capt. Bowman withtwo months service.
