On 6 July 1819, LemuelCurtis resident of Antrim in the sixty-fourth year of his age made applicationfor a pension based on his service in the Revolution. In the first part ofFebruary 1776, he enlisted as a private in the company of Capt. Daniel Wilkinsin the regiment of Col. Bedel of the New Hampshire line and served until thebeginning of 1777 when he was honorably discharged. On 12 July 1820, heprovided further information on his circumstances. He reported no property ofany kind. He was a laborer by trade but unable to work due to infirmity. Lemuelwas awarded a pension.
