Sarah Chandler

Sarah was born in 1693. She married Lieutenant Joseph Wright and the family moved to Woodstock. The family lived in a house of John Chandler, Jr. On 15 March 1737, there was a fire in the house that killed Sarah, her son Abiel age 11 and the family servant John Page.

"Mrs. Sarah Wright the wife of Leut. Joseph Wright Aged about 44 years and Abial Wright Son of the Said Joseph wright by Sarah his wife having Jest Completed the Eleventh year of his age and John Page, a Servent to Said Wright aged about 30 years ware all burnt to Death the following night after the fifteenth Day of March. 1736/7 in the Dissolation of his house by fire."
