Military
Benjamin Abbot of Andover enlisted 20 February 1777 in the company of Capt. Abbott in Col. Tupper’s regiment for service at Bennington. He enlisted in Continental army in the company of Capt. Samuel Johnson on 17 February 1778 for a term to expire 1 January 1780.
