Rev. Joseph Buckminster and his son Rev, Joseph S. Buckminster died one day apart. “DIED, At Boston, on Tuesday, June 9, the Rev. Joseph S. Buckminster, pastor of the church in Brattle Square, in the 28th year of his age;and on Wednesday, June 10th, at Readsborough, Vermont, his father, The Rev.Joseph Buckminster, D.D. pastor of the first church in Portsmouth, N.H. in the 61st year of his age. He was on his way to the Springs for the benefit of his health and was buried on Thursday at Bennington.”[1][The Sun, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Sat., June 20, 1812, p.3]
