Property
Francis and Abiah resided in Andover until 1789 and their first four children were born there. On 2 March 1789, Francis Dane, yeoman of Andover, with his wife Abiah sold to Joseph Burtt, Jr. of Andover for £125 a small farm of fifty acres on the westerly side of Andover with all the buildings.[1][1]Massachusetts Land Records, Essex County, 151:148
