Christopher Batt wrote a brief will in 1656 prior to going on a trip to Virginia in which he names his wife Ann as executor and she is to use all of his estate to care for their children who are not named. Apparently, he survived this trip as he did not died until 1661.Death
Reported to have been killed accidentally by his son who was shooting at a mark and missed the mark and shot his dad instead.Endnotes
