Son Samuel Leighton receives thirty dollars, the sword and belt, his small gun and bayonet, and the wearing apparel if Samuel calls for it at the house in Alfred, Maine within two years of his decease. Daughter-in-law Rachel widow of his son William Parsons Leighton receives twenty dollars to be paid to Rachel’s daughter Frances Leighton Ferden when she arrives at age eighteen years. Son Usher Parsons Leighton receives thirty dollars which completes his portion. Daughter Oner Jones wife of Dr. William Jones of Ohio receives a good feather bed.
