Nathan Burrill

DEATH OF AN AGED CITIZEN. Capt Nathan Burrill, of this village, died at his residence on Thursday, at the age of about 79 years. For an number of years past he has been quite infirm, and several weeks since he fell from a chair at his house breaking a hip bone, since which time he has been declining, and
expired at the time above mentioned. Captain Burrill removed to this town in 1809, and was for many years engaged in the business of bookbinding, and also in publishing books and newspapers, a part of the time in connection with our respected fellow citizen, Caleb Hersey, Esq He was for some years postmaster, and was also Superintendent of the Boston and Maine Railroad for a time. His funeral takes place at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Unitarian Church, and will be attended by the members of the Masonic Fraternity, to which institution he had long been attached.
