Most of the births are recorded both at Sedgwick and Blue Hill – there are multiple date variations for the births – using those from the Blue Hill family record – volume 1, p 36 – but it is Hancock County, Maine Family Register – not specifically Blue HillHere is the family record at Blue Hill image 62, FHL Film # 007595324

On 10 April 1800, Benjamin Clough yeoman of Blue Hill, for payment of $600, purchased from Samuel Ober and Mary Coggins purchased lot number 66 of the first division with 100 acres and buildings. On 29 August 1800, Benjamin of Blue Hill and his wife Relief sold seven acres in Blue Hill to Nathan Arnold for $45.75.1
On 28 February 1825, Benjamin Clough yeoman of Sedgwick, in consideration of one thousand dollars, conveyed to Moody Clough of Sedgwick a 100-acre tract in Sedgwick, “being the lot of land which I now live on.” On 27 March 1830, Benjamin Clough of Sedgwick with his wife Elizabeth sold 55 acres in Blue Hill to Robert Gray for seventy-five dollars.2
