In his will written 13 October 1875 (probate 16 May 1881), Jonathan Dwinels, of Tomkins age 80, bequeathed to granddaughter Grace Clark the featherbed that had been her mother’s. Son C. S. Dwinels receives his razor. Daughter Sally Barus (or Barnes) receives one dollar. The remainder of the estate is to be divided between his two daughters Emmer Jane Bosworth and Caroline Rose.[1]
