Notes
Death
John, "in the service," __, 1777. C.R.2.Probate
The probate is supposed to include allowances for the support of children Sarah, Jacob, and Andrew, but I am not sure I have found that in there. And I do wonder about this as there are children of the same ages with different parents in Andover. In 1795, Timothy Mooar as the nearest living relation asks to be relieved of the administration of the estate related to the reverting of the widow's portion to the estate. That petition includes the statement that there are no other near relations living in the State suggesting any children John did have are deceased or moved away.
