The will of Joshua Abbott has bequests for the following persons: sister Dorcas Abbott who receives one-half of the homestead, Joshua Kidder who receives the other half of the homestead, Blaney Abbot gets his pew in the Billerica meeting house, Joanna Winship of Lexington, the widow Dorcas Bowers of Billerica, Abigail Kidder, and Elizabeth Abbot of Billerica each receive $150; and to Henry Jefts, Elizabeth Jefts, Alice Jefts, Lydia Richardson, and Hannah Wright all of Billerica; to Sarah Spaulding, Alice Trull, and Abigail Shattuck daughters of Oliver Stearns late of Billerica each receive to receive $25; and to Polly Wilson who lives with him he gives some household items and $40; Samuel Stearns and Abbot Stearns sons of Oliver Stearns, and to James Abbot of Billerica who is also named executor.
