                In his will dated 26 October 1818 (proved 6 January 1824), Henry Farnham bequeathed to beloved wife Abigail all the household furniture except the clock, desk,meal chest, and casks. Bequests including a dwelling house and garden were made to Zeruiah Farnham widow of her son Erastus and their heirs: Lewis Farnham, Anna Farnham, Lydia Farnham, Henry Farnham, Jr., and Abigail Farnham. The bequest to Erastus’s children included a 33-acre lot to grandson Lewis. Daughter Clarissa wife of Simeon Palmer received ten dollars in addition to what she has received. Daughter Lydia wife of Asa Bushnell receives forty-seven dollars. Daughter Ruby widow of Adonijah Knight receives twenty dollars and privilege to live in the house. Daughter Phebe wife of Samuel Ladd receives fifteen dollars. The heirs of late son Daniel receive three dollars. Son Jared Farnham receives the remainder of the estate including the remaining furniture items, stock, and money and is also named executor.[1]
