Will
1797, Dec. 9. Ayers, Peter, of Wantage Twsp., Sussex Co.; will of. Wife, Catharine, all my beds and bedding and 2 cows; also her support from the profits of my land. Sons, Thomas, David and Jacob, each £100; and money given to son, Thomas, shall remain in the hands of sons, David and Jacob, as their own property, until my son, Thomas, shall personally appear to receive it himself. Daughters, Rachel, Hannah, Catharine and Phebe, each £50. Moveable estate to be sold and residue thereof to be divided between my said daughters, Rachel, Hannah, Catharine and Phebe, and granddaughter, Catharine (daughter of son, Peter, dee'd). Daughter, Mary (who is now deprived of her reason), to be supported out of the profits of my land,during her life. After my wife's and said daughter, Mary's decease, land to be sold and the above legacies made amongst my children.
