Notes
Probate
In his will written 24 June 1841 (proved 21 March 1843), Cyrus Dow of Sherburne bequeathed his personal estate to wife Nabby to be at her disposal. She also receives the income from all the real property during her life. After Nabby’s decease, all the real property goes to son Cyrus M. Dow on condition that he pay four hundred dollars to daughter Almira Daniels within two years. Cyrus M. Dow was named executor.[1]At the proving of the will, Cyrus M. Dow gave a statement that the only heirs were widow Nabby Dow, Cyrus M. Dow of Sherburne, and Almira Daniels wife of James Daniels of Columbus, Pennsylvania.[1] New York.
