On 15 August 1757 (recorded 22 August 1759), Josiah Bailey conveyed to Josiah Bailey, Jr. of Lunenburg a tract of 70 acres for payment on £66. On 25 January 1763, Josiah for love, good will,and affection conveyed to his dutiful and obedient son Josiah Bailey, Jr. a tract of land in Lunenburg which was part of the elder Josiah’s home lot. On 5 July 1778, Josiah, then styled as gentleman, sold a further lot to Josiah, Jr.for payment of £100.[1][1]Massachusetts Land Records, Worcester County, 41:242, 55:391, 124:461
