Probate
In his will (probate 23 October 1833), Jonathan Baker bequeathed to his beloved wife Sarah all his pasture and wild land lying to the west and adjoining the land of Stephen Foster to be hers and to her heirs and assigns forever. He bequeathed twenty-five cents to each of his children: Betsy, Sally, Jonathan, Polly, Phebe, Aaron, Thomas, Rebecca, Abigail, Mahala, George, David, William, Emerson,and Elijah. The rest of the personal estate including the pew in the meetinghouse is bequeathed to wife Sarah to be of her own use and benefit forever.Samuel Locke was named executor.[1][1] New Hampshire.
