Notes
Identity
Notes on identity of spousesSecond husband is?? Does she have a third husband who is the Dearborn??But he may be David Dearborn rather than Daniel Dearborn – she may die inMinnesota where her son James Blanchard settled – I have a middle marriage toEugene Erbin in there, but am deleting him altogether – but J. B. Blanchard inhis autobiography says that is who she married so he goes back in – Eugeneabandons the family – Susan and Eugene marry when J.B. is five years old and motheris abandoned with five children -- http://genealogytrails.com/minn/clay/bios_b.html-- maybe the David Dearborn is wrong? --can’t figure it out – maybe the transcriber just got the name wrong and her second husband is David Dearborn as the information otherwise fits – but he also says stepfather went to the Mexican War in Florida (which was 1848) an dnever heard from again – here are the Dearborns in Maine in 1850 -- https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-6QMS-6NH?i=15&cc=1401638&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AM6VQ-KQB– here is the son James B. Blanchard in 1850 living next to George W. Blanchardwho I will try as an older brother; https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-6QMS-XCW?cc=1401638&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AM6V7-28H– the Eugene Erbin is coming out again – I think that could just be a poortranscription – I think the Susan dying in Minnesota may be wrong and am takingthat out – this could be Susan in 1870 living with what may be a daughterLorinda Blanchard who married Luther Sawyer; https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-678Q-W2Z?i=168&cc=1438024&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AM6D5-RYW– and she may be younger than Calvin and will need to switch – this is theguardianship for the son George W. Blanchard; https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/8994/images/007139086_00249?usePUB=true&pId=1459153–George W. Blanchard names one of his kids David D. Blanchard
