On 2 December 1805, Jonathan Ballard and SallyBallard, in consideration of $82, quitclaimed to Asa Pierce all their interestin the homestead farm of Eliphalet Pierce deceased, late of Augusta. On 23April 1803, Jason Pierce, Sally’s brother, quitclaimed his interest in the estateof Eliphalet Pierce to Jonathan Ballard.[1]9:58, 9:57https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSL5-J9FQ-C?i=57&cat=323983 On 10 November 1814, Jonathan Ballard and his wifeSally, in consideration of $300, conveyed to Ephraim Ballard, Jr. land inAugusta on the west side of the Kennebec River containing 30 acres. On 10October 1816, Jonathan Ballard yeoman of Augusta, in consideration of $250,conveyed to De Lafayette Ballard a tract of land on the went side of theKennebec River containing 50 acres. On 14 October 1816, Jonathan conveyed to DeLafayette all his undivided part of land in lot number twenty-nine of thesecond range for payment of $150.
