Will
Caleb wrote a will 11 Apr 1793. There are bequests for wife Chloe, sons Elijah and Caleb, and daughter Elizabeth Howe(?). He wrote a codicil 4 April 1798, it which he bequeathed to his wife Chloe the whole of a farm that he purchased from Samuel Dunham so long as she gives up rights to property she brought with her into the marriage. There are no other changes to heirs. The estate entered probate 29 August 1810. The distribution documents include the division set off to widow Chloe and an acknowledgment from Elijah and Caleb that they have received their portions. There is not a distribution document related to Elizabeth.Endnotes
