Elijah Crofoot wasinvolved in numerous land transactions in Bridport, many to family members. On22 March 1803, Elijah conveyed part of the third division lot in Bridport toLovice Wilson wife of Cyril Wilson for payment of fifty dollars. On the samedate, Elijah sold part of the third division lot to Horace Crofoot for fiftydollars. On 4 December 1807, Elijah Crofoot sold to Montgomery Crofoot seventyacres from the first division lot for five hundred and twenty dollars. On thesame date Montgomery sold forty acres of the lot to Elijah Crofoot for threehundred and fifty dollars. On 19 June 1822, Elijah Crofoot sold part of thesecond division lot to Lovisa Crofoot and on 8 August 1822 sold part of thesecond division lot to Elijah Crofoot, Jr. Also on 8 August 1822, Elijah soldto Elijah, Jr. multiple parcels for payment of one thousand dollars.
