Catherine is called Baley in the Bristol records, Ithink – but it seems to be Kaler and may have found her father – since thefamily is supposed to arrive from Germany in 1752, she would be born in GermanyThis might be the fatherhttps://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Kohler-580no, that is a different onehttps://archive.org/details/broadbaypioneers00whit/page/382/mode/2upso that could all be wrong – may try her as Baleyand see what happensthere is a cemetery that says Baley and “alsofiled under Bailey” – and found the Bailey card but it is not entirely clearwhat that meansdiscussion as to why there is no evidence of Catherine’smaiden namehttps://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-416532Endnotes
