Ephraim Jones did notleave a will and his estate was administered by Simeon Jones, appointed 9 September1813. Inventory of the estate was made in October 1813 with personal estate valueof $717.87. Real estate was one-third part of the farm on which Ephraim residedcontaining about 40 acres with one-third of the dwelling house valued at$1516.59. The dower thirds were set to the widow Lucy during her natural life. Debtsand expenses of administration were $242.20. The distribution from the estatewas 28 September 1814.
