Atinventory, 325 acres of land were valued at £600 and personal estate was £192.17.6.The distribution of the real estate was made 19 April 1796. Seventy-five acrestaken from the west side of the old farm was assigned to Sarah as her dower. Onehundred acres were assigned to son Peter Chase with value of £220. Distributionof 25 acres was made to daughter Susanna and fifty-three acres to daughterElizabeth, both these lots valued at £50.
