Philip Beasom of Marblehead purchased lot number 49in Lyndeborough, excepting 25 acres, from Jesse Putnam on 8 November 1775.Father Philip returned to Marblehead where he died. On 11 June 1798, Sarah Beasomof Marblehead widow of Philip acting as executrix of his will sold lot number49 (excepting 25 acres) in Lyndeborough with house and barn to her son John Beasomfor payment of ten hundred and fifty dollars.[1][1] NewHampshire Land Records, Hillsborough County, 44:286, 48:535
