The distribution was made to eldest son, Jay Ballard; Jeffrey Ballard,second son; Charles Ballard, third son; Henry Ballard, fourth son; Mary, seconddaughter; Amanda, third daughter; Ruth Ballard, fourth daughter; Orra Ballard,fifth daughter; and Phebe Hamilton, eldest daughter. At a second distribution on5 January 1815, daughter Amanda was then Amanda Norton. Signing their approval ofthe division were Huldah Ballard; Nathan Hamilton; John Norton; O.
