Francis Plummer served from Pittsfield in theRevolution. He was in the company of Capt. William Francis that marched toTiconderoga on 17 October 1776 with service of four weeks and two days. Heserved as Corporal in the company of Lieut. James Hubbard with nine daysservice from 18 July to 27 July 1777. He was clerk in the detachment of Lieut.Joel Stevens with three days service in October 1780. He served 13 days in thecompany of Capt.
