DaughterBetsey received twenty dollars; Polly, fifty dollars; Miriam, fifty dollars;Sophia, fifty dollars; Ruth, sixty dollars; and Alcedinia, sixty-five dollars.Son John received the remainder of the estate. Samuel Pearce was named soleexecutor and authorized to sell the real estate as needed. Real estate of 100acres with buildings was valued at $700 and personal estate was $268.20. On 3Nov 1798, Ruth Marvin requested that Samuel Pearce be named guardian for minorchildren under age 14: Meriam aged 12, Sophia aged 10, Ruth aged 7, Alcidaniaaged 4, and John aged 2.
