On 9 April 1774, Jonathan Hall of Rumneypurchased additional tracts in Rumney from John and Mary Clifford for paymentof ninety pounds. Jonathan purchased tracts in Rumney in 1778 from his fatherJonathan Hall and from Isaac Clifford.[1][1] NewHampshire Land Records, Grafton County, 4:152, 4:153, 4:154, 4:154On 3 February 1795,Jonathan Hall of Rumney sold two parcels totaling 73 acres to Abraham Burnham,Esq. of Rumney. On 12 April 1804, Jonathan Hall of gentleman of Rumney, inconsideration of eight hundred dollars, conveyed to Jonathan Hall, Jr. ofRumney 120 acres in Rumney which included part of the farm on which Jonathan,Jr. was then living. On 3 April 1805, Jonathan sold a smaller parcel toJonathan, Jr. for payment of fifty dollars. On 3 April 1805, Jonathan Hall ofRumney sold 100 acres in Groton, New Hampshire to Benjamin Hall of Groton forpayment of two hundred dollars.
