Zachariah is listed in thecompany of Capt. Nathan Brown on 10 July 1776. Zachariah served in the company ofCapt. William Stillson, regiment of Col. Isaac Wyman of the Northern Armymustered on 4 July 1776.[1] Heis listed in the militia company of Capt. Willoughby, regiment of Lt. Col.David Webster from 5 July 1777 to 16 July 1777 to reinforce the garrison atTiconderoga. Zachariah was Corporal in the company of Capt. Edward Elliott,Henley’s regiment, Gen. Stark’s brigade engaged 21 July 1777. Zachariah wasreported killed 16 August 1777 at the Battle of Bennington.
