Property
On 26 March 1819, IssacharKeyes with wife Abigail, in consideration of love and affection and one hundreddollars, conveyed to his sons Jonas and Joash all his real estate in Westfordand Chelmsford, but reserving to Abigail Keyes the use and improvement of a specifiedportion of the house. On 22 January 1821, widow Abigail Keyes gave up her rightto a comfortable maintenance from the estate “agreeably to the provision of thelast will and testament of her late husband”,[1]and in exchange, Joans and Joash deeded to Abigail several tracts of land,rooms and parts of buildings, and a privilege to mowing land. On 2 November1821, Joash and his wife Mary Ann, in consideration of $500, quitclaimed theirinterests in at least a portion of the property to Jonas. On 5 May 1823, in twotransactions for a total payment of $375, widow Abigail Keyes quitclaimed herinterest in the real estate to Jonas Keyes.[2] deedsBiography
