Moses Scott served during the Revolution fromBennington as a private in the company of Capt. Samuel Robinson, service in1777. He was in the militia company of Capt. Joseph Safford responding to analarm on 2 August 1781 with eight days of service. He was also in Capt. Safford’scompany at the alarm to Castleton with service from 14 October to 31 October1781. He is on the militia roll of Capt. Eli Noble, regiment of Col.
